Honey Doesn't Expire

Honey is a sweet and viscous liquid produced by bees from the nectar of flowers.  It has been used for thousands of years as a food, sweetener, and even for medicinal purposes.  One question that people often ask is whether honey expires or not. The short answer is no, honey does not expire.  Unlike many other foods, honey has a virtually indefinite shelf life, thanks to its unique chemical composition and properties.  Honey is a natural preservative due to its high sugar content, low moisture content, and acidic pH level, which makes it inhospitable for bacteria and other microorganisms to grow.
